Taylor Tawny Port Wine is a fortified, sweet wine crafted from selected grapes sourced from the renowned vineyards of the Cima Corgo and Douro Superior regions. It employs advanced winemaking technologies, including the use of piston fermenters known as Port Toes, which are instrumental in enhancing flavor and aroma extraction during fermentation. The fermentation process is halted with the addition of grape spirits while residual sugars remain, contributing to the wine's sweetness. As it matures, this wine undergoes a color transformation from a young, dark purple-black to a distinctive tawny hue, indicative of its aging process. This product is a blend of wines from various vintages, each aged in 600-liter oak casks, which enriches its complexity and character. Alcohol by volume: 18%
