To prevent overnight frost or light ice - Spray Ice Chek uniformly on surface to protect. Repeat every 8-12 hours as needed. To remove frost or light ice - Spray across surface, working from top to bottom. Frost will melt in 10-15 seconds; light ice will soften and melt within one minute. For ice, repeat spray as needed, scrape as desired. To remove heavy ice accumulation - spray generously from top to bottom several times in 30-second intervals to soften and weaken the ice surface. If necessary, use a scraper to horizontally score the ice, allowing Ice Chek to work more efficiently. Ice up to 1/8 inch thick will usually soften in 2-3 minutes for easy removal. Ice Chek's unique water repellent barrier will instantly be created on any cleaned surface to retard further ice and frost adhesion, making subsequent removal even easier!
