HMX is chemically enhanced to revitalize hardened seals reducing oil consumption common in higher mileage engines. Stout detergents remove engine deposits and maintain cleanliness promoting engine longevity. Advanced Synerlec technology provides an exceptional film strength by reducing friction for peak engine performance. HMX also provides outstanding oxidation resistance to safely extend oil drains, and an ionic attraction to metal components maintaining a film of oil on parts minimizing start-up wear. HMX can safely extend drain intervals up to 15,000 miles or 12 months in unmodified, mechanically-sound engines with proper filtration. Royal Purple recommends two (2) short clean-up drain intervals of 3,000 miles each using HMX to thoroughly clean the engine before extending drain intervals.
